- Two-miles from the Château, you will find Baugé Golf and its beautiful 18-hole course. There are also many horseback riding clubs less than five miles from the Château.
In the middle of summer, Opéra de Baugé, an international opera festival, offers its own, new, fully-staged opera productions each season.

Touring the Loire region
The Château du Bouchet is located in the Anjou region of France, in the heart of the Loire Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The valley is known for the richness of its art and history, receiving an average of 4 million visitors each year.
Less than an hour by car: Angers, Azay-le-Rideau, Chinon, Fontevraud, Langeais, Le Lude, Montgeoffroy, Le Plessis-Bourré, Saumur, Ussé, Villandry.
Less than two hours by car: Blois, Chambord, Chaumont, Chenonceau, Cheverny and many others.
